November Parent Newsletter
Welcome!
We are also very thankful to still be in school on site. I want to thank you all for being diligent in making sure your child has a mask coming to school each day. I want to also thank you for making sure they are clean and washed each day as well as visiting with your children about the importance of keeping them on properly over their nose and mouth. All of these reinforcements from home help us a great deal at school!
I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving break and take time to count your many blessings. It is so important for each of us to look for the good things in our lives and be grateful for them. This practice helps us to be content and full of joy. One of the greatest joy's in my life are your wonderful children that you share with me every day. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you!
Have a wonderful November!

Counselor's Corner
Greetings Plainview Primary Families! Thank you so much for your support of our annual elementary food drive. It was a great success and the House of Prayer praised our school saying we are their most substantial donors! The kids loved seeing Ms. Moore and Mr. Silver kiss a pig, so fun! I am so proud of our families and kiddos. Our final total was 1,692 items. Plainview families are so generous! As the holidays quickly approach there will be multiple opportunities for families to extend our counseling classroom lessons. Throughout the month of November, we will be exploring gratitude, kindness, and thankfulness. While on those long road trips for Thanksgiving festivities it may be advantageous to have family discussions about what we are thankful for and identify ways we can show gratitude to those we care about. Be kind and be safe.
Cookie Dough Fundraiser
Fundraiser ends November 10th! All proceeds will go directly to the classroom! Prizes will be given for top sellers!
